About our guild:

The Star Point Quilters Guild had its beginnings in spring of 1992 when a handful of quilters met to draft the bylaws for this nonprofit organization.  In the first year the guild registered 59 charter members.  Since that time, they have grown and responded to the goal of furthering the art of quilt making in Portage County and the surrounding areas.

 The guild welcomes quilters of all levels and encourages participation in their local events and programs.

Guild meetings are on the third Thursday of the month on the lower level of the Ruth Gilfry Center, 817 Whiting Avenue, Stevens Point.  Social time begins at 6:30 PM and the business meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
